La Voz was founded in 1981 by Candelario J. Mendoza and Albert Castro.
La Voz was originally acquired by the Valley Academies Foundation in 2004 to provide students enrolled in Pomona’s Media Professions Academy hands-on and applied learning opportunities in the broad spectrum of careers related to print-media publications. Through La Voz, students learned first hand basic skills and technologies related to marketing, advertising, adjudication, sales, reporting, writing, producing and printing a newspaper. Skills lead students to increased opportunity for gainful employment in the field of media publications.
Currently, La Voz office serves the greater Pomona Valley with traditional print and online news, advertising and adjudicated listings! We always appreciate the comments of our readers and would like to hear from you as we work to make your community newspaper even better.
La Voz offices are located in Suite #4 at the The Village @ Indian Hill, 1460 East Holt Blvd., Pomona, CA. Come see us anytime and bring us your personal, community and business news, advertising and printing needs.
